André Jean-Claude Joseph Blais

It is with profound sadness that the family of André Jean-Claude Joseph Blais announces his sudden yet peaceful passing at home on November 27, 2024. André was a devoted husband and a caring, protective father who cherished his family deeply.

André was known for his exceptional skills in various trades and found immense joy in camping, boating, and spending time outdoors. When not fixing something, he enjoyed watching his favorite Star Trek episodes alongside his beloved wife, Barbie, and their cherished cats.

As the President of his RC Flying Club, André was passionate about his hobbies, including cooking, barbecuing, and photography. He shared his love for these pursuits with his family and friends, leaving behind countless treasured memories.

André is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Barbie (née White); his son Jason; his daughter Kaitlyn (Oliver); his sisters Suzanne (George Caldwell) and Kathleen (Heath); and his nieces and nephews Samantha, Kenda (Trevor), Jared, and Matthew (Carolina). He was predeceased by his parents Jean-Claude and Frances Blais, his sister Michelle Blais, and his son Brandon.

In this time of sorrow, may André be remembered with love and fondness by all who knew him. “Beam him up, Scotty. Live long and prosper.”
