Charles Borg

December 10, 1924 – May 1, 2025

BORG, Charles – Passed away peacefully at 100 years old, surrounded by his loving family on May 1, 2025, at Erie Shores Hospital. Reunited with his soul mate Mary (née Bugeja) (2012). Their journey began when they met in 1956 in Zebbug, Malta. They were happily married for 56 years and raised a beautiful family together.

Charles is survived by his children Joseph, Frank, Margaret and Ernie, Emma, and Isabella and Manuel. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Micheal and Alicia, Daniella and Amber, Noel and Leonora, Jonathan and Amanda, Cristal, and David. Dear great-grandfather of Lucy, Elenor, Aiden, Penelope, Benjamin, and Katherine.

Charles was predeceased by his siblings Emmanuel, Lonza, Iris, Ester, Nina, and Franz. He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.

Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue, on Sunday May 4, 2025, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services for Charles will be held on Monday May 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Charles may be made to the Windsor/Essex Lung Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
