After a courageous battle, Colette passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 65.
Beloved wife of the late Paul Bryan. Loving mother of Bill (Katie) and Krista Jeffery (Carson). Cherished Nana of Cameron. Predeceased by her mother Elizabeth Jarick. Colette was actively involved with Scouts Canada, Girl Guides, and the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park for many years.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel. At Colette’s request, please dress how you feel most comfortable.

Unexpectedly passed away on April 28, 2025 at her home, at the age of 64.
Beloved sister of Donna Lindsay (Gene), Lillian, Mark, and Eva. Predeceased by her parents Zygmunt & Adela Andralojc and her brothers James and Roman. Loving aunt of Alex, Eden, and Jenny.
Janet loved spending time with her dogs Klea and Mac. She also found joy in golfing, shopping, and going for long walks with her dogs. She cherished her time with her loved ones, had a great sense of humour and style, and valued hard work. Her long and dedicated career in the insurance business reflected her determination and commitment. We will miss her immensely. Rest in Paradise, beautiful sister.

Joyce will be sadly missed by many family and friends. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, knitting, and listening to music.

A proud retiree of General Motors after 34 and a half years of dedicated service, Ernie lived life with warmth, laughter, and love. He enjoyed reading, watching hockey and baseball, and listening to country music. Ernie found joy in cooking, singing to his grandchildren, and spending special moments with his family. His sense of humor, tender heart, and optimistic spirit touched everyone he met.
Ernie loved the outdoors, traveling, spending time with family, and doing a newfie jig whenever he could. Social by nature, he never missed a chance to strike up a conversation or enjoy a good party. His vibrant spirit and kind soul will be forever remembered and deeply missed.

Passed away peacefully after a short illness on April 22nd at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa, surrounded by the love of his family.
Mitch was the devoted husband of Eugenia for 65 cherished years. Loving father of Jerry (Jerzy) and his wife Zofia, and Derek and his wife Ann. Proud grandfather of Tricia Soal and her husband Geoff, Sarah Light and her husband Alex, Michelle, and Eric. Adored great-grandfather of Thomas, Max, Lilah, Freddie, and Lucas.
He is survived by his sister Teresa and her late husband Michal in Poland. Mitch will be lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends whose lives he touched with kindness and generosity.
Before coming to Canada, Mitch was a road construction project manager in Poland. Here, he worked for Wegu Canada Inc. until his retirement. Mitch had a deep love for gardening—particularly for his prized beefsteak tomatoes. Each season, he carefully nurtured them, often building a greenhouse just to ensure they could thrive early and last well into the season.
He found great joy in family gatherings and took immense pride in everything he owned—especially his car, which was always spotless. Mitch was the kind of man who would drop everything to lend a hand, whether to a friend, a neighbour, or even a stranger in need.
A longtime and faithful member of St. Hedwig’s Polish Catholic Church, Mitch’s quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering devotion to his loved ones will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be at Armstrong Funeral Home on Sunday April 27th from 6-8 pm with prayers at 7 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Hedwig’s Polish Catholic Church on Monday April 28th at 10:30 am. Followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Unexpectedly passed away at the age of 52 on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital. His loss leaves a deep ache in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Stephen was a devoted husband to Lisa and a proud father to Taylor and Emily – roles that he embraced with everything he had. Cherished son of Douglas and the late Elizabeth Giles. Stephen will be missed by his brother-in-law Dennis Knapp, his wife Lynn and their children Michael, Evan, and Jessica. He leaves behind his beloved dogs Oskar and Archie, who will miss his playful energy and quiet companionship.
A longtime Cable Repair Technician with Bell Canada, Stephen took pride in his work and the people he served. He enjoyed playing hockey with his friends and family and was a dedicated teammate and lifelong hockey fan.
Stephen will be remembered for his loyalty, his love and the way he showed up for his family, his friends and everyone who needed him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Canlan Ice Sports on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 1-3 p.m., with a service to follow at 3 p.m. All are welcome.

Allen had a lifelong passion for fishing, spending many quiet days by the water.
Additionally, he was a true lover of the open road. He not only found purpose and pride in his work as a truck driver, but he also enjoyed cruising for the joy of the ride.
