Gloria Ann Buckle (née McCracken) of Teeswater, passed away at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025, at age 78.

Visitation will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater on Monday, January 27th, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service to honour Gloria’s life at 3:30 p.m.

Donald Mac Lamont

1940 - November 14, 2024

Donald Mac Lamont of Teeswater passed away peacefully at Wingham & District Hospital on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the age of 84. He was the beloved husband of Marjorie Lamont (née Elphick).

Donald will be lovingly remembered by his children: Kim Dent (Jim), Linda Lamont, Susan Riley (Ken), Bud Lamont (Stephanie), Dale Lamont (Natasha), Dawn Schiestel (Ken), and Scott Lamont. Cherished grandfather of 18 grandchildren and great-grandfather of 19 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his brothers-in-law JD Elphick (Kathy) and Joe Zettler, as well as Larry Lamont and Albin Hauck. Donald will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.

Donald was the last surviving member of his immediate family, predeceased by his parents Orville and Irene (née Schlosser) Lamont, his siblings Marjorie Hill (Ron), Betty Clark, and Bud Lamont, as well as his in-laws Gladys Zettler, Donald Elphick (Diane), Robert Elphick (Norma), Carol Lamont, and Sharon Hauck.

A private family funeral service will be held at the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater. Interment will take place at Durham Road Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Salem United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
