Ronald Lucien Joseph Levesque
March 3, 1956 – April 25, 2025
LEVESQUE, Ronald Lucien Joseph — Ron passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, leaving behind his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda (St. Michel), and two sons Kevin (Jody) and Ronnie (Leeann). Proud Papa to Tanner, Emmaleigh, Kaeden, Karter, Koen, and Jayda-Lyn.
Born in Sudbury, Ron was the second son of the late Lucille (Charron) and Gerald Levesque. He shared countless memories with his siblings Cookie (Uldege), Gilles (predeceased) (Lorraine), Toupie (Gerald Jr) (Lynn), and Colinne (Glen, predeceased). He also shared strong family ties with the Bergeron family during his youth in Mckerrow.
Ron, affectionately known as “Frapp,” was a man of humour, determination, and ingenuity. With only a Grade 6 education, he held various roles including owner of Levesque’s General Store, driving instructor, Brewers Retail driver, miner, and long-haul trucker. Earning his high school diploma later in life was a proud personal milestone.
His garage in Webbwood became his sanctuary—where he built, tinkered, and created gifts for his grandchildren. Known for finding just the right part, tool, or solution, he always lent a helping hand. His stories, jokes, and infectious laugh touched many visitors at the store and beyond.
He will be remembered as a vibrant, generous soul whose personality filled any room. His absence will be felt deeply by his extended family, friends, and the many lives he brightened with his antics and affection.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
