Rosario Mainville

1939 – 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosario Mainville on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Jeannette Mainville (nee Gervais). Loving father of Nicole Moreau (Marc), Claude Mainville, Marc Mainville (Line Labrecque), and Joanne Leroux (Nelson). Proud grandfather of Julie, André, Sarah, Christopher, Jordan, Jean, Anne, Suzie, Lisa, Eric and great-grandfather of Jonathan, Nicholas, Benjamin, Finley, Sloan, Allison, Kylie, Laine, Jacob, Vivian, Alexander, Eleanor, and George.

Rosario will be missed by his sister Aline Gaudin (late Frank) and several nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by his parents Claude & Emerance Mainville (nee Faubert) and his sister Alice Poirier (Hervé).

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of Rosario’s Life will be held at a later date.
