March 9, 1936 – November 23, 2024
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Graziella Rosalia Sarrasin (née Crevier) on November 23, 2024, at the age of 88. A beloved wife, mother, mémère, sister, and aunt, Graziella was a shining example of love, kindness, and devotion to family.
Born on March 9, 1936, in Kenogami, Quebec, Graziella shared a 68-year love story with her husband, Romeo. Together, they built a family full of love, raising their children Michael (Susan), Denis (Kathleen), Doris (Nick), and Daniel (Jazz). Her grandchildren Amy (Brent), Justin (Hailey), Kyle (Sarah-Louise), Ciara, Nickolas, Christopher, Chris, Sierra (deceased), Mason, and Riley brought her immense pride and joy, as did her great-grandchildren Charlotte and Ashley.
Graziella was predeceased by her parents, as well as her brothers Aza, Rene, Gillis, and Lucien, and sisters Jeanne-Mance, Giselle, Willimine, Rita, and Rolande. She is survived by her sisters Darquise and Jeanne, along with her extended family, who will carry forward her memory and legacy.
A skilled baker, seamstress, and crafter, Graziella’s creations were tokens of her love, shared with those she cared about. Her life was a testament to the values of kindness, grace, and generosity, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire her family for generations.
As per her and Romeo’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Red Rock, Ontario. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at London Health Sciences Centre for their compassionate care.
